Linux /dev/random c++. Sep 23, 2017 She has to type a long document but for typing double and single quotes (and also some other keys like tilde) she has to press the key twice. If she presses, for example, the double quote key nothing gets typed on screen —but as soon as she presses the same key again, or another key, two double quotes mark appear.
Hi, I have this problem that's driving me bonkers , and I'm sure there must be a simple solution because it seems to happen in all word processors I've tried (Word, OO.o, Abiword).
Double Quotation Marks Examples
The problem is, sometimes for no apparent reason when I press the quotation mark key it won't do anything until I press it twice, and then it will give me two of the quotation marks instead of one (this is the case for both single and double quotation mark key-presses). For example, to get any output of double quotation marks ('), I have to press SHIFT + ' twice, and then I'll get this a double output (') instead of the one (') double quotation mark I wanted.Typing Double Quotation Marks In Dev C Online
If I restart the word processor completely, the problem is gone, but if I'm typing for an hour or more the problem is sure to reoccur (sometimes after only a few minutes). Why does this happen, and is there some way to shut off whatever function is causing this to happen? I end up wasting so much time because of this. I'm sure this problem must happen to lots of other people as well who would also be glad to know the solution.
